Thanks Wendy for the Tulip challenge last week, we had lots of lovely entries on the forum and the blog...looking forward to all those spring flowers in the garden now!
Talking of the garden, the last week has seen the birds getting busy making their nests, so this week the challenge is to make a card with a bird or birds on it. I have chosen to use Linda Luckin's peacock stamps (made by Tanda of course!) for this challenge and I think that they are brilliant, especially the feathers which make fabulous backgrounds.
I'll post another peacock card later in the week using stamps from Art Deco set 1, with any luck it will be in the next Let's make cards (I don't know for sure, but I don't want to upset them by posting until the magazine is out just in case).
Anyway, here goes with my first card
regards

Nice one Sue - I am going to have to share one I made previously - lots of crud going on at work at the mo and am seriously stressed out. Also on two courses this week and next. If I have the time I will add a new one later in the week.
Made using Prisma Pencils and Gamsol. Peacock and small motiff stamp from TandaStamp India Set, Backgorund is Pedlars Pack. _________________ warm wishes

Here is my entry for this challenge and there are also a few cards on my blog which also fit the bill one of which is here.
Thanks for this - a good theme and I've heard that 'birds are going to big' this year on cards!!

Sorry about my previous message - I was trying to be clever and put in alink to a card which is on my blog but it doesn't seem to have worked anyway and then I couldn't also put my image into the message so here is this week's card and various other birds appear on my blog if you care to have a browse!! The address is below.

Here is my bird card ...although I did make it for another challenge I hope you do not mind me showing it as I just dont have the time to make another for this week at Tanda.
the challenge was to make a valentine card not using RED or PINK on it... this was my entry.
I have been away from my blogging for sometime now and it will take me a while to catch up.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Great selection, see peacocks are popular but love the alternative takes. Made a couple of bird cards for friends recently am putting them both in + one made just for the challange.
Sue i got the magazine today, your lovely card is in there but so small you cannot really see it no credit. it is not a magazine i will get again but you live and learn.
For a friends Birthday last week-end
For a friends December Birthday
For the challange _________________

Zoe, great cards especially the black and white one!!...curiosity got the better of me and I went out and got a copy of lets make cards......you're totally right...their photo doesn't do it justice....at least you can see the stamps though!...it's the first time I've bought this magazine and I have to say it isn't a stamper's mag...not a patch on Craft stamper!...and at twice the price I can't see me getting it again either. As you say you live and learn!
Chrissy, your card is divine!
Keep them coming everyone!
regards
