Letterboxing

Letterboxing is a popular pastime that combines orienteering, puzzles and art which began on Dartmoor and is popular all over the world. As a letterboxer you hide a small waterproof box (on Dartmoor for example) and then distribute clues on how to find it. Contained within the letterbox is a log book and rubber stamp so that finders can stamp their own logbook with the stamp and then also stamp the letterbox's logbook with their own stamp.

To have your artwork made into stamps simply email your finished artwork to sales@tandastamps.com following the short guidelines below.

When designing your own stamps it is important to avoid very small text or very fine lines as well as 'greyscale' images as these will not reproduce very well. All designs should be in black pen or marker pen with solid lines with the final resolution being between 300 to 600 dpi (dots per inch).
